The Male-Male Couple of 2013

Image
I just watched the latest episode of Running Man, which featured the rebel student trio of Lee Jong Suk, Kim Woo Bin, and Lee Jong Hyun (of C.N. Blue), Kim Soo Ro, and Min Hyo Rin. And I couldn't help but fangirl at the bromance between Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin . I was giggling so much when Jong Suk kept on holding Woo Bin's hand while eating his so very cold ice cream. And I didn't notice at first, but Jong Suk patted Woo Bin's butt when he greeted him in the beginning! XD This couple is not very new, a hot issue during "School 2013" and probably even now. They're well-known for their heartbreaking friendship on screen, between their characters Go Nam Soon and Park Heung Soo, but apparently their really good friends in real life. It's hard not to squeal at their various expressions of friendship, and maybe love? Woo Bin said to vote for them as a male-male couple for Best Couple! A bowl of noodles makes us one... Proof shots!!! Suc

An (Embarrassing) Obsession

So, I think it was Friday night, I decided to check out Teen Top (for some unknown reason). And honestly, I couldn't help but fall for them (slightly). I still find their general image and personalities shown on TV revolting (like the whole "Don't Spray Perfume" thing and "beating" each other up on "Weekly Idol"), but I found their songs really catchy and addicting. I could (sort of) get why they're so popular in Korea, with great songs, okay fashion, and above average looks. And in the middle of this, I fell deeply in love with Chunji . I feel kind of ashamed about this, because I kind of picked him just for his looks, at first. I remember, when I was just glimpsing one of their music videos, he caught my eye, and I decided that if someone were to ask me who I liked from Teen Top, it'd be Chunji. And he's remained in my heart like that for about two days now. It's not that I'm madly  in love with him, I have sort of a fangirl c

Fabulous Finds

I think I'm becoming a fan of SNL Korea . I was just browsing through YouTube, and happened upon a certain video of one of their skits. It's called "Yeouido Teletubbies," and at first, I thought it was some weird parody of a children's show. But then, I realized, it had to do with Korean politics, and that discovery just brightened my day. They characterize the main figures of the current political scene today, through the different-colored teletubbies. For example, Park Geun Hye is called "뽀," the red teletubbie (called Po, originally). Moon Jae In is called "문제니," the yellow one. Lee Jung Hee is a purple "구라돌이," while Lee Myung Bak is affectionately called "MB," the green teletubbie. Ahn Chul Soo is white, called "안쳤어." I just love how the writer/PD of the skit played so close to the real events, cause it's like a kid's storytelling version of all the happenings, doused with a little sweet cursing in betw

Bang Yong Gook

He was born on March 31st, in the year of 1990. He was born in Incheon, and his family once lived in Ijak island for a short time. He has a twin brother named Yong Nam, and an older sister. He couldn't talk until he was five years old. At first, his parents were against the idea of him pursuing music, so he studied until he became the top of his class. In 2008, he adopted the stage name Jepp Blackman as a part of an underground hip-hop group called Soul Connection. His favorite saying is "Do what you like, and love what you do," and even has it tattooed on the left side of his back: For his ideal type, he wants a girl who respects her elders and has a big heart - who does things like picking up the trash, looking both ways before crossing the street, etc. He is also claimed to have the best abs in B.A.P: Add to that, he has written all of the rap parts in B.A.P's songs, and participated in the writing of the majority of their "No Mercy&quo
