Possibly my first K-Pop bias ever. U-Kiss was the very first boy band that I've ever fallen in love with, despite being formerly introduced to their famous sunbaes like Super Junior and DBSK (notably both SM artists), from my cousin and mom, respectively. One of the factors that got me to love U-Kiss was probably the pretty, angelic face of Kevin, one of its main vocalists.

Although I'm four years younger than him (and am called "cute" and "young" myself), I always feel like I'm looking at a baby when I see Kevin. Obviously, he's prettier than me, part of the flower boy trend that has started over the past ten or so years. Admittedly, I'm part of that trend, where I seem to fall for a lot of the feminine-looking guys. ; )

Rather than fall in love with him, I've developed a sort of obsession with him. He's not really my ideal type, but I just can't get over how pretty he is. Occasionally (often), he makes my heart go wild, with his seeming masculine-ness, mixed in with that pretty face of his. He has the best live skills, where he never fails to sing all his parts just right in U-Kiss's live performances. Kevin is also supposedly really nice in real life, one of the members with the best fan service. And need I mention, he's Korean American, so English is a no-brainer for him. I just love the way he speaks English, it's so cute! Kevin will always remain in my heart, as he was my first.

Oh my god, I've developed a new (very giant) celebrity crush, in the name of Seo Kang Joon . Ah, where should I start? I've been watching "Cunning Single Lady" for the last few weeks, which has Seo Kang Joon as the second male lead, the charming noona-killer Gook Seung Hyun. I wasn't very attracted to him while watching him in it, at least not consciously. (I wasn't going, "ah, he's so fine/handsome/good-looking/cute..." all the time.) But I must have been somewhat attracted to him, because I randomly had a dream about him a few nights ago. I was SO surprised, because it was really out of nowhere. I was almost completely sure I didn't have any feelings for him before, rather, I was kind of turned off by the way he really looks like he had plastic surgery, just the way he looked kind of weird and slightly off in the drama. But being the superstitious person that I am, I felt like this meant something, and it made me kind of curious about him.

Revelation

My mom and I recently caught up with the 진짜 사나이 fever that's all the rage in Korea these days. (Apparently, it even won over 1박 2일 in ratings.) The show features male celebrities that enroll in the Korean army for a few days. They participate in all the activities that ordinary soldiers-in-training engage in, and go through the similar process that all Korean men have to through sometime in their lives. Along with a lot of popularity among viewers (especially men over the age of 30), Korean ahjummas have been raving over the three golden men in the show (aka the currently most-wanted son-in-laws): Jang Hyuk, Ryu Soo Young, and Park Hyung Shik. Jang Hyuk is the actor that can out-perform almost every 조교, or leading officer, in all the training routines. Ryu Soo Young is the most positive guy you could ever meet, sharing all of his good energy with the other soldiers.
