The Fandom Rainbow

Recognized as the rookie group of 2012 , B.A.P has wowed many. However, they didn't really impress me until a few days ago, when my eyes were finally opened. I already wrote a blog post about my initial realization on my main blog, but as the days go by, my amazement with this group is only growing. First of all, their music. WOW. I cannot help saying this word. B.A.P has a fresh new sound that is a blend of hip-hop and rock. The hip-hop is mainly comprised of a strong beat and lots of rap in between, along with rock, which ranges from pop rock to hard rock. Right now, I'm basically in love with all  of their songs, from their main singles to the rest of the EPs and mini albums that they released just last year. Currently, some of my favorite songs are "Dancing in the Rain," "What The Hell," and "Voice Mail." Lately, I've been getting more interested in a particular Korean actor, Joo Won . I remember being kind of attracted to him while watching "Baker King Kim Tak Goo," but not really knowing much about him. It wasn't until I watched "Bridal Mask" and especially "1 Night 2 Days" that I fell in love with him. Now, after a marathon of Joo Won watching, he is most certainly one of my top biases in the Korean entertainment industry. Today, my mom was talking about how she watched an episode of "Win Win," a variety talk show, and Joo Won was in it, and she found out what a great person Joo Won is. He is certainly a mother's friend's son, but he's more than that. He seems to be a really down-to-earth guy, modest and someone who has his head on right. On the outside, he really kind of looks like the bad guy type, but on the inside, he is a sweet guy who's really innocent when it comes to love. He has a very strong feminine side, wher...

So, I have created this blog to discuss the various things that I worship or am a fan of. Some of them include K-Pop, Korean dramas, almost everything Korean media-related, Taylor Swift (although I hate to admit it), Justin Bieber (again, sadly), "The Vampire Diaries," and various actors/actresses and celebrities. This blog is dedicated to all of them, and I might even do some analyses and deconstructing of fandoms, since I'm going to be a sociology major.
